What to do if your version of WordPress needs updating
Are you using the latest version of WordPress? You may already be aware that a new version of the WordPress software has recently been released (version 3.6.1).
But how do I know which version of WordPress I am using?
In your WordPress admin panel, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and the version number will be visible in the bottom right hand corner. If the number is lower than 3.6.1, you are running an old version of the WordPress software and you need to update to version 3.6.1 as soon as possible. If it’s lower than 3, then you REALLY need to update to 3.6.1 as soon as possible.

What are plugins?
