Hacked WordPress Website?

Hacker mindset

Faced with a hacked WordPress website?

Unfortunately, things don’t always go according to plan, and a hacked WordPress website is just one of many things that can go wrong.

That carefully prepared speech becomes a jumble of random words; a stumble on a step ruins a grand entrance; an unexpected guest spoils your special party evening.

The statistics on hacked websites

You’re not alone! A recent study concluded that there is an attack every 39 seconds on the internet. Hackers create 300,000 new pieces of malware daily. And an average of 30,000 new websites are hacked every day.

But that’s not much comfort if it’s your website that’s been hacked! Just because thousands of other people share your frustration, it doesn’t make it any less harrowing for you.

You’re left feeling violated, and wondering why on earth someone would choose to spend their time hacking into other peoples’ websites. That’s the subject of another post for another day though. For now, we’re talking about how you can get it fixed quickly and (relatively) painlessly.

The problem

When your lovingly created WordPress site gets hacked and your visitors are automatically redirected to a different site like the one in the image below (taken from an actual hacked website that we repaired earlier this week), you’re left feeling hacked off – to put it mildly! Not to mention the effect it can have on you and your business’ reputation.

Unfortunately, discovering that you have a hacked WordPress website can be the start of a time-consuming and expensive nightmare. It can take ages to find someone to help you, and they will often charge you by the hour with no guarantee that they will be able to fix it.

The solution to a hacked WordPress website

But don’t worry, our WordPress Website Recovery Service is here to help.

We’ve recovered many hacked websites over the years. We assess the damage, and get to work systematically recovering and repairing your site. Being British I don’t want to blow our own trumpet too much, but we have a 100% success rate in getting hacked websites working again. In fact, we’re so confident that we’ll be able to get your site working again that we won’t charge you if we can’t help! Not bad, eh?

The cost of recovering a hacked WordPress website

Our WordPress Website Recovery Service costs just £499+VAT. This is a fixed price and includes a deep clean of your hacked website, as well as helpful recommendations to prevent it happening again.

Call us on 01626 572572 or email us at contact@outerbridge.co.uk to get your business back online fast.

The caveats

Small print: please be aware that we cannot magically recreate lost content from your WordPress website. So if you don’t have a backup from before the hack, what’s gone is gone. Similarly, hackers often change page layouts. Again, if there’s no backup available, we will only be able to remove the hacker’s code, not recreate pages from scratch.

A WordPress Support Package is the perfect solution

One last thing before I sign off, our Premium WordPress Website Support Package customers don’t need to worry about any of the above.  In the very unlikely event of their websites being hacked, our recovery service is included in their package. We do things differently here at Outerbridge. It’s all part of the service.
