When Bold Legal Group (BLG) had a vision for a new online training system (BLG Training) for their rapidly growing number of members, they asked Devon-based Outerbridge to help out.
BLG Training System
The BLG Training website enables conveyancers to fulfil their continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, quickly and conveniently. All BLG member firms can register their employees with the system which provides them with a full training and risk management system. Employees can then take regular tests on current legislation, regulation and best practice within the conveyancing sector. For successful candidates, the system generates a pass certificate in the name of the person taking the test.
Online bulletins
BLG provide regular bulletins to member firms on matters of interest to conveyancers, and it is these bulletins that are the key to passing the regular bi-monthly tests. Members are able to easily access relevant past bulletins in order to refresh their knowledge of the latest developments in the world of conveyancing.
Training website project management services
This was a massive project. So as part of our solution, Outerbridge provided project management services to the BLG team. This enabled us to ensure that the project delivered on time, within budget and to scope. Our project management experience meant that we were able to work closely with BLG to precisely define the requirements of their new online training system. The first step was to compile a systems requirement document for BLG to help them see how their vision could be realised.
Training website – design, development & testing
Our system design and web development services were also vital for the project. We designed the online training system to work seamlessly for the customers. Our web development experts then built the system from scratch. Finally, we undertook rigorous testing of the training system to make sure that it was working perfectly when it was launched to customers.

Since launching the new online training system, BLG has gone from strength to strength. They are signing up hundreds of new member firms and expanding their business significantly as a result.
