Having worked with us before on the Seventh Wave Music website, Carolyn had no hesitation in appointing Outerbridge to build a brand new LearnDash website for a new business venture that she was planning – The Braided River.
We built a new WordPress website from scratch, using the LearnDash plugin together with WooCommerce to provide a fully functional E-Commerce and training website with a complex structure of courses, lessons and topics.
Key to this project was the design element. Carolyn was looking for a website that reflected the nature of the business. Being an artist herself, she had a strong sense of the feelings she wanted to convey, but had no idea how this might be possible in a website context. We worked very closely together with Carolyn on mood boards, images, colours and fonts to translate her visual ideas into a website concept that she is rightly extremely proud of.
This was a highly complex build, requiring strict access controls, a huge amount of course content and a fully-functioning online shop with monthly subscriptions, one-off payments and bundled products.
The Braided River project really illustrates how strong visual imagery can be used to portray a product offering that is earthy and artistic within the highly technical context of a WooCommerce website.
We also provide ongoing web development assistance and a monthly website support package to ensure the smooth running of such a complex website.
