DaffyDownDilly is a retail sweet shop and franchise based in Sidmouth in Devon.
DaffyDownDilly already had an E-Commerce website when they came to Outerbridge, but it was using an outdated theme with lots of customisations. They found the theme very difficult to work with, and it was not helping their site to perform well in search engine rankings. They were keen to drive more traffic to their website. We built a new website for DaffyDownDilly using WooCommerce and the Storefront theme. Daffy’s gorgeous products were the inspiration for the design. They have a huge range of colourful and eye-catching sweets and we wanted the product images to speak for themselves. So we designed a site with a minimal feel to it whilst still reflecting the strong branding that they had in place.

The sweets are logically arranged in categories. We particularly love the retro sweets which really remind us of buying sweets with our pocket money when we were kids. The whole place has a really fun, modern feel to it and it’s an absolute delight to visit. It’s a great retail experience.
