SharpEdge Marketing are a Devon-based marketing company. They provide a wide range of marketing services and specialise in B2B (business-to-business) marketing. They are experts in the manufacturing, engineering and construction sectors.
SharpEdge Marketing asked Outerbridge to build them a brand new website, featuring a fresh, modern design and using their existing branding as inspiration. They wanted to be able to make their own changes to the website, so making it easy for them to update via an administration dashboard was important.
Outerbridge designed and built a WordPress website for SharpEdge which is created via a bespoke child theme based on The7 WordPress theme. The website is content-rich and, as a result, there is lots of useful information about marketing. The use of marketing funnels channels customers into the right areas by posing a range of possible marketing questions and directing them to the appropriate answers.
The site also includes a range of special features such as:
- a colourful blog with eye-catching featured images
- an accordion-style “frequently asked questions” area
- an area for new users to download PDFs in return for their email address
- a private client resources area where existing clients can download PDFs when the correct client code is entered into the site
Outerbridge also provided and configured a useful tool to assist SharpEdge with search engine optimisation (SEO). We also performed extensive initial SEO on the website so that the new website was quickly indexed by Google. The new website integrates nicely with SharpEdge’s social media activity, including a live Twitter feed. As with all our projects, we delivered to scope, on time and within budget.
