Accountancy Practice Management System

If you’re wondering why we’ve been so quiet lately, it’s because we’ve been beavering away here at Outerbridge Towers on a major piece of work. We’ve been designing and building a bespoke practice management system for Sanders, a firm of chartered accountants in London.

The partners had been looking for some off-the-shelf software that would enable them to more efficiently run and manage their accountancy practice, but they couldn’t find what they were looking for. So they asked Outerbridge to build a database system for them from scratch. We did the training for the Sanders team last week, and the SandersConnect system went live at the weekend. Initial feedback indicates that they are very happy with the result, and delighted that the system was delivered on time, within budget and to their exact requirements.

Having a bespoke system which is designed especially for them meant that they could make sure it fulfilled all their needs and it was no more expensive than a less flexible off-the-shelf solution. Most accountancy practice management systems rely on a time-based monitoring system, whereas SandersConnect measures the value added to the firm as a result of performing a particular activity, rather than the time taken to complete that task. SandersConnect is a web-based system, to which the whole team have easy access via the internet.
